Pizza Shop is a pizza-making time-management game where you run a small kitchen for twelve days. Customers walk in with order tickets, and you build each pizza to match, bake it to the right doneness, slice it and serve it before they get tired of waiting. You can play Pizza Shop online free in your browser with no download, on a keyboard, a mouse or a phone’s touch screen.
How to play
Up to three customers wait at once, each with an order tab and a patience bar. The active order’s ticket is shown in full underneath. Tap a tab to switch orders.
- Build: tap a sauce bin to spread tomato, white or pesto sauce. Tap Cheese once for cheese, twice for extra cheese, and a third time to take it off. Then pick a topping and tap the pizza once for every piece, or drag a piece from the bin onto the pizza.
- Check the ticket: every topping line shows how many you have placed against how many the customer wants, plus a small icon for where it goes: the whole pizza, the left half or the right half. Matching lines turn green.
- Bake: press Bake (or tap an empty oven rack) to slide the pizza in. A marker moves along the bake bar past L, M and W, for Light, Medium and Well done, and the target for that order glows green. Tap the oven or press Take out when the marker is in the green. Leave it much longer and the pizza burns.
- Slice: swipe across the pizza to cut it through the middle. Two cuts make 4 slices, three make 6 and four make 8. Keep the cuts evenly spaced.
- Serve: press Serve to hand the pizza over.
Scoring, days and upgrades
Every pizza is scored out of 100 on the build, the bake, the cuts and speed. Serve a customer while their patience bar is at least half full for full speed marks. You earn coins for each pizza, and good pizzas earn a tip on top.
A day ends when every customer has been served or has walked out. Average 50% or more across the day to pass, with stars for 50%, 70% and 85%. A customer who walks out counts as zero, so letting someone leave hurts more than serving a pizza that is not quite right. If you fail, you keep your coins and can retry the day.
Each day adds something new: mushrooms and bake levels, half-pizza orders, more toppings and sauces, 8-slice orders, no-cheese and extra-cheese requests, and orders with up to three toppings. Later days bring more customers with less patience. Clear all twelve days to finish, then keep going with bonus days.
Between days, spend coins in the upgrades shop:
- Turbo oven: pizzas bake 25% faster per level, up to three levels.
- Second oven rack: bake two pizzas at the same time.
- Comfy seats: customers wait 15% longer per level.
- Tip jar: tips are 25% bigger per level.
- Cutting guide: dotted lines show where even cuts go, and cuts close to a line snap onto it.
Your day, coins, stars and upgrades are saved in your browser. To start over, tap New game on the title screen twice.
Tips
- Keep the oven busy. As soon as one pizza goes in, the game switches you to the next order that still needs building. Build it while the first one bakes.
- Listen for the ding. A soft bell rings when a pizza reaches its target bake.
- Mind the halves. On half orders, pieces placed on the wrong side count against you. A dotted line down the middle marks the halves.
- Cut across, not in pieces. Each swipe is one full cut through the center, so you only need two to four swipes. If a cut goes wrong, Undo removes it.
FAQ
Is Pizza Shop free?
Yes. It is free to play with no account and nothing to install. Press Start Day 1 to open the shop.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. Tap the bins, tap or drag toppings onto the pizza and swipe to cut. The game area won’t scroll the page while you play.
Are there keyboard controls?
Yes. The two rows of letter keys from Q and A pick the twelve ingredient bins, the arrow keys place a topping, C cuts, Enter bakes, takes out or serves, Z undoes and 1 to 3 switch orders.
Can I pause?
Press P or Esc, or use the Pause button. The game also pauses if you switch tabs, and customers and ovens freeze while it is paused.
