Privacy Policy — How dinogame.gg Handles Data (GDPR, CCPA)

Short version

We collect minimal data. No accounts, no email collection from users, no login. Games save high scores to your browser's localStorage (on your device, not our servers). We use Google Analytics for aggregate traffic analysis. We do not sell data to advertisers or anyone else.

What we collect

Standard server logs. Our hosting provider logs HTTP requests with IP addresses, timestamps, user agents, and referrers. Retained for ~30 days for operational purposes (debugging, abuse mitigation).
Analytics (Google Analytics 4). Aggregate page-view counts, traffic sources, country-level geography, browser/device categories. Configured to anonymize IPs.
Game state (localStorage only). Most games on the site save high scores, settings, and progress to your browser’s localStorage. This data stays on your device. We do not collect it.

What we don’t collect

Email addresses. We have no signup form, no newsletter, no account system.
Names. No name collection. Anywhere.
Phone numbers. See above.
Payment information. No payments accepted. No payment processing.
Cross-site tracking. No third-party advertising trackers embedded.
Game-by-game behavior. We don't log every click within a game.

Cookies

Functional cookies. WordPress sets cookies for technical operation (CSRF tokens for admin users, dark-mode preference). These cookies are first-party and not shared.
Google Analytics cookies. If you don’t want GA tracking, browser extensions like uBlock Origin or Privacy Badger block it cleanly. We also honor “Do Not Track” browser settings.
localStorage (not technically cookies). Games use localStorage to save high scores and progress on your device. Clear browser data → game state is wiped.

Children

dinogame.gg is appropriate for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We do not have age verification. Games are not advertised to children directly — but if you’re a parent and have concerns about specific game content, email us at [email protected].

Your rights

GDPR (EU/UK): You have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of personal data we hold about you. Email [email protected] with the request. Note: we hold very little about you (just server logs and aggregated analytics) — so most requests resolve trivially.
CCPA (California): California residents have rights to know, delete, and opt out of “sale” of personal information. We do not sell personal information. Other rights honored same as GDPR.
“Do Not Track”: We honor this browser-level signal where applicable.

Unsplash and Pexels (image hosting): some game thumbnail images are sourced from Unsplash and Pexels. Their own image-loading may set their own cookies if you click through to their sites.

Security
