1. Pizza Shop
Pizza Shop is our own pizza making game, built for Dinogame in 2026 and playable free on this site. You run a small cartoon pizzeria for twelve days, and each day adds new toppings and harder orders.
How it plays: Customers arrive with order tickets that list the sauce, the cheese, each topping with a count and whether it goes on the whole pizza or just the left or right half, the bake level, and the number of slices. You spread the sauce, place the toppings piece by piece, bake the pie and pull it out when the oven marker hits Light, Medium or Well done, then swipe to cut it into 4, 6 or 8 slices. Each pizza is scored on the build, the bake, the cuts and your speed, and the coins you earn buy upgrades such as a second oven rack and a faster oven between days. Leave a customer waiting too long and they walk out. Controls: Tap or click, drag toppings onto the pizza, and swipe to cut, with full keyboard shortcuts too. Why it fits: It is a complete time-management pizza game that works as well on a phone as on a laptop. Best for: Anyone who wants a quick, free pizza shop in a tab. Play Pizza Shop here.
2. Papa’s Pizzeria
Papa’s Pizzeria is a 2007 Flash game by Flipline Studios and the game that started the long-running Papa Louie restaurant series. Papa Louie runs off on an adventure, and Delivery Boy Roy is left to run the shop.
How it plays: Customers place fully custom orders, and you work four stations: taking the order, adding toppings, baking, and cutting. Each customer scores you on topping placement, bake time, and slice accuracy, and better scores mean bigger tips and higher ranks. Orders get pickier as you level up. Controls: Mouse only, with drag and drop for toppings. Why it fits: It is the pizza making game most people picture first. Best for: Anyone who likes time-management restaurant games. The original Flash version runs through the Internet Archive’s Ruffle emulator, and our Papa Louie guide covers the wider series.
3. Google’s Celebrating Pizza Doodle
On December 6, 2021, Google ran an interactive Doodle that celebrated pizza with a slicing game. It marked the anniversary of the art of the Neapolitan pizzaiuolo being added to UNESCO’s list of intangible cultural heritage.
How it plays: Each level shows a pizza and a set of orders. You draw cuts across the pie so that every diner gets the toppings they asked for. The first pizzas are easy, with evenly spread toppings. Later ones bring clashing preferences and jumbled toppings, and the more accurate your slices, the more stars you earn. The pizzas feature popular toppings from around the world. Controls: Click or tap and drag to cut. Why it fits: It turns the most important pizza skill, fair slicing, into a puzzle. Best for: A quick break. It is still playable from the Google Doodles archive.
4. Papa Louie: When Pizzas Attack
Papa Louie: When Pizzas Attack is a 2006 platformer from Flipline Studios and the first game in the Papa Louie platforming series. The pizzas are the villains this time.
How it plays: Papa Louie sets out to rescue his customers, who have been captured by pizza monsters and the Onion Ring. You run and jump through levels, beat enemies, and free customers along the way. It plays like a classic side-scrolling platformer with a food theme. Controls: Keyboard movement, jumping, and attacks. Why it fits: It is pure pizza silliness from the studio that later made Papa’s Pizzeria. Best for: Platformer fans and anyone who grew up on Flash games. It also runs on the Internet Archive.
5. Pizza Tycoon
Pizza Tycoon is a 1994 strategy game developed by Cybernetic Corporation and published by MicroProse. In Europe it was known as Pizza Connection. The MS-DOS version is on the Internet Archive, playable in the browser.
How it plays: You start as an aspiring pizza chef with limited money and try to build the best pizza chain in the world. You pick locations, furnish restaurants, set prices, hire staff, and design your own pizzas from a long list of ingredients. The game also has a comic crime side, where shady dealings can help or hurt your business. Controls: Mouse-driven menus. Why it fits: It is the deepest pizza business game on this list. Best for: Tycoon fans with an hour to spare.
6. Avoid the Noid
Avoid the Noid is a 1989 computer game made to promote Domino’s Pizza, starring the brand’s mascot of the era, the Noid. It was released for DOS and the Commodore 64.
How it plays: You are a delivery driver who must carry a pizza to the top floor of a building in 30 minutes or less. The Noid does everything he can to stop you on the way up. Arrive late and the customer gets a discount, and you lose your job. Controls: Keyboard or joystick. Why it fits: It is a piece of pizza history, built around the old 30-minute delivery promise. Best for: Retro fans and anyone curious about advergames. It is a stiff, old-school challenge.
7. Pizza City
Pizza City is a 2009 Flash game from Adult Swim Games. Uncle Tony has a new delivery driver, and that driver is you.
How it plays: You shuttle pizzas from Tony’s shop to customers all over a large city. The faster and cleaner your deliveries, the better your tips, so you learn the streets and shortcuts as you go. Controls: Keyboard driving controls. Why it fits: Delivery is half of the pizza business, and this game is all about it. Best for: Players who prefer driving games to kitchen games. The Internet Archive hosts a copy that runs with Ruffle.
8. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are the most pizza-obsessed heroes in games, and their 1989 Konami action game came to the PC as well as the NES. The Internet Archive runs the MS-DOS version in a browser.
How it plays: You switch between Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello to rescue April O’Neil from Shredder. Each turtle has his own health bar, and pizza is how you heal. A slice restores a little, and a whole pizza restores much more. Controls: Keyboard movement with jump and attack keys. Why it fits: Pizza is the power-up that keeps the whole team alive. Best for: Players who want action with their pizza. Fair warning: it is famously hard.
9. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time
Turtles in Time is Konami’s 1991 arcade beat ’em up, and its 1992 Super NES version runs in the Internet Archive’s browser emulator. Krang steals the Statue of Liberty, and Shredder throws the turtles back through time.
How it plays: You fight through waves of Foot Soldiers across different eras, from prehistoric times to the future. Pizza boxes found along the way restore health. It is a fast, friendly brawler, a lot kinder than the 1989 game. Controls: Move, jump, and attack keys. Why it fits: The turtles’ favorite food is still the thing that keeps you going. Best for: Arcade fans and anyone who wants a short, fun brawl.
What makes a good pizza game
Most pizza games fall into one of three groups.
- Pizza making games: Pizza Shop, Papa’s Pizzeria and the Google Doodle reward precision, whether that is topping placement or fair slicing.
- Business and delivery games: Pizza Tycoon, Avoid the Noid, and Pizza City are about running the shop or getting the pie out the door on time.
- Pizza as flavor: Papa Louie and the Turtles games use pizza as a theme or a power-up inside action games.
If the kitchen side is your favorite, our list of the best browser cooking games has many more restaurant games, and our roundup of browser games about food covers everything from fruit to burgers.
How we picked these games
Every pick runs in a standard browser today, either natively or through the Internet Archive’s emulators. Pizza had to be central to the game, as the product, the business, or the core power-up. We left out pizza games that exist only as mobile or Steam releases with no browser version.
A pizza delivery game on Dinogame
Making the pizza is only half the job. In Pizza Delivery Game, a dinosaur on a moped carries a stack of pizza boxes through a hilly town, leaning on the slopes to keep the stack level, hopping potholes, cones and dogs, and stopping at the glowing house before the pizzas go cold. Tips depend on how many toppings stay put and how hot the order arrives, across 10 routes with growing stacks.
Frequently asked questions
What is the most popular pizza game?
Papa’s Pizzeria is the best-known pizza game in a browser. It launched Flipline Studios’ long-running restaurant series, and its four-station kitchen is still the model for pizza making games.
Can you still play Papa’s Pizzeria after Flash ended?
Yes. The Internet Archive hosts the original Flash version and runs it with the Ruffle emulator, so it plays in a modern browser without a Flash plugin.
Is the Google pizza game still playable?
Yes. The December 2021 Celebrating Pizza Doodle is kept in the Google Doodles archive, where you can still play the slicing game.
Is Good Pizza, Great Pizza playable in a browser?
We could not find an official browser version. It is available on mobile and on Steam, so Papa’s Pizzeria and our own Pizza Shop are the closest free browser alternatives.
