Marble Run Game is a side-view marble run builder with real 2D physics. Snap ramps, curves, funnels, spirals, seesaws and loops onto a pegboard grid, press Drop, and watch your marbles roll, bounce and clatter down the track. Solve 20 puzzle levels or build anything you like in Sandbox. It’s a free marble track game that runs in your browser on a computer, tablet or phone, with no download and no sign-up.

How to play

Drag a piece from the tray onto the board and it snaps to the grid. You can also tap a piece in the tray and then tap an empty spot on the board. Tap a piece you’ve placed to flip it the other way, and drag it off the board to put it back in the tray.

  • Ramps come in three slopes: a gentle ramp, a steep ramp and a long two-cell ramp.
  • Curves catch a falling marble and send it out sideways.
  • Funnels are three cells wide and gather stray marbles into one stream.
  • Spirals zigzag a marble down three switchback ramps.
  • Seesaws tip under a marble’s weight, so where it lands decides which way it rolls.
  • Splitters flip after every marble, sending them right, then left, then right again.
  • Trampolines bounce marbles high into the air.
  • Loops need a fast marble. Too slow and it slides back out.
  • Lifts carry marbles up a three-cell tower and send them out at the top.
  • Bells ring when a marble hits them. Cups catch the marbles.

Puzzle mode

Each of the 20 levels gives you a drop chute, one or two cups, some stone blocks in the way, at least one bell and a small set of pieces. Build a track, then press Drop marbles. To clear the level you need to catch a set number of marbles, such as 2 of 3. Each level has three stars to earn:

  • Save every marble.
  • Use no more than the par number of pieces. The tray often holds a spare piece you don’t need.
  • Ring every bell on the board.

Clearing a level unlocks the next one. If a run goes wrong, press Stop or Edit track. Your track stays on the board, so you only need to fix the part that failed. Your best stars are saved in your browser.

The early levels teach one piece at a time. Later ones mix them: two cups fed by a splitter, a lift that carries marbles back up, a stack of spirals, and a full marble machine to finish.

Sandbox mode

Sandbox gives you unlimited pieces, including extra drop chutes, walls, bells and cups. Choose a marble color, or rainbow, and a small, medium or large size. Drop marbles one at a time, or press Drop 10 for a stream. Slow motion runs at a quarter speed, so you can watch a tricky bounce. You can keep up to six creations in the save slots and load them again later.

Tips

  • Watch the first marble. Physics decides where a marble lands, and it can fly further off a steep ramp than you expect. Drop once, see where it goes, then move the next piece under it.
  • Speed is everything. Steep ramps and free falls build speed, and every bounce loses some. A loop needs a fast run-up along its floor.
  • Catch strays with a funnel. When marbles bounce in slightly different ways, a funnel lines them up again.
  • Bells change the path. A bell knocks a marble sideways when it rings, so plan the track below it.
  • Same track, same result. The simulation is deterministic, so a track that works once works every time.

FAQ

Is Marble Run Game free?

Yes. It’s free to play in your browser, with no account and nothing to install.

Can I play it on a phone?

Yes. Drag pieces with your finger, or tap a tray piece and then tap the board. Dragging on the board never scrolls the page.

Is every puzzle solvable with three stars?

Yes. Every level has a tested solution that saves all the marbles, rings every bell and stays within par. Other solutions often work too.

How is this different from the other marble games here?

Our Marble Game is classic ring marbles, where you flick a shooter. This one is about building the track. If you like building rides with physics, try the Roller Coaster Game.
