Ice Cream Shop

Ice Cream Shop is a free ice cream game you play right in your browser. You run a small parlor where cute animals and little dinosaurs line up at the counter, each with an order bubble over their head. Scoop the right flavors into a cone or cup, add sauce and toppings, and from day 4 bake layer cakes too. Serve fast for bigger tips, keep enough customers happy to finish each day, and see if you can run the shop for all ten days. It works on desktop, Chromebook and phone with no download or sign-up.

How to play

Up to three customers wait at the counter at once, and more queue behind them. Each one has an order bubble and a patience bar that drains while they wait.

• Pick a customer. Tap a customer (or press 1, 2 or 3). Their order appears in words on the ticket under the counter, so you never have to guess a flavor from the picture.
• Build an ice cream. Tap Cone or Cup, then tap up to three scoops in order, bottom scoop first. Each scoop takes a moment to land. Finish with a sauce (fudge, caramel or berry) and any toppings: sprinkles, a cherry or crunchy bits.
• Build a cake. From day 4 some customers want a layer cake. Tap Cake, stack one to three layers from the bottom up (vanilla, chocolate or red velvet), then pick a frosting color and a decoration: candles, berries, sugar stars or sprinkles.
• Serve. Press Serve to hand the treat to the selected customer. Undo takes back the last step, and Trash clears the build.

Scoring: every part of the order counts, from the cone or cup to each scoop, the sauce and every topping, and extra items you add count against you as well. A customer pays the price times your accuracy, so a treat that is 80% right earns 80% of the price. The tip depends on accuracy and on how much patience they had left when you served them. Anything under 50% right gets no pay at all, and if a patience bar runs out, the customer walks out.

Days: make at least 60% of the day’s customers happy to pass. Each day brings more customers, bigger orders and less patience. Fail a day and you keep the cash you earned, so you can upgrade and try again. Pass day 10 to win, then keep going if you like.

Upgrades and decorations

Between days, spend your cash in the shop:

• Faster scoop (three levels) cuts the time each scoop or cake layer takes.
• Comfy seats (three levels) let customers wait 20% longer per level.
• New flavors (two packs) unlock blueberry and mango, then cookies and cream and bubblegum. Premium scoops add 50 cents to the price, and customers start ordering them.
• Decorations: an awning, plants, string lights and a glowing cone sign. Each one shows up in the shop and adds 3% to your tips.

Your day, cash, upgrades and decorations are saved in your browser, so you can close the tab and continue later.

Make your own

Pick Make your own on the start screen for a free-play mode with no customers and no timer. Every flavor is open, including the ones you have not bought yet. Build any cone, cup or cake you like and press Save PNG to download a picture of your creation.

Tips

• Serve the most impatient customer first. When someone’s bar turns orange or red, switch to them before starting a new build.
• Read the ticket, not just the bubble. The ticket lists scoops in order from the bottom, which matters for scoring.
• Leave things off. If an order has no sauce or no toppings, adding them costs you accuracy.
• Buy Faster scoop early. Three-scoop orders and three-layer cakes take the longest, and later days give you less time.

Is Ice Cream Shop free to play?

Yes. It is completely free, with no account and no install.

Is there a cake game too?

Yes. From day 4, cake orders join the line: stack the layers in the right order, frost the cake and add the right decoration. You can also build cakes any time in Make your own.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Tap customers and stations with your finger. On a keyboard, 1 to 3 pick a customer, Enter serves, Z undoes and X trashes the build.

Can I pause?

Press P or Esc, or use the Pause button. The game also pauses when you switch tabs, and patience bars freeze while paused.

What happens if I fail a day?

You keep the cash from that day, can buy upgrades, and replay the same day.
