A chunky voxel T-rex races down a three-lane desert highway toward the horizon while you switch lanes, jump and duck. How to play

Your T-rex runs on its own and speeds up the longer you survive. The Speed readout shows how fast you’re going, and one hit ends the run.

• Switch lanes to steer around cacti, rocks and pterodactyls.
• Jump over cacti and rocks, even when every lane is blocked.
• Duck under low-flying pterodactyls. Don’t jump into them.

As you run, the sky moves from day to sunset to a moonlit night and back again. Your score climbs with every metre you cover, and your best score is saved in your browser.

Tips

• Change lanes early. Obstacles come from far down the road, so pick your lane while they’re still small. A late swerve at top speed is how most runs end.
• Jump when the whole row is blocked. Later on, some rows fill all three lanes with cacti and rocks. There’s no gap to steer through, so jump over it.
• Watch for pterodactyls after the first few seconds. Fliers start showing up a little way into the run. Duck under one or move to a clear lane. Jumping is the wrong answer.
• Fast-fall out of a bad jump. Pressing down in mid-air pulls you back to the road, so you can recover from an early jump or get under a flier sooner.
• Stay in the middle lane when you can. From the center you’re one move away from either side, which gives you more options when a row appears.
