Boba Game puts you behind the counter of a cozy bubble tea shop. Cats, bunnies, pandas, frogs, foxes and little dinosaurs line up with a recipe in mind, and your job is to make it exactly right: tea, milk, sweetness, ice and toppings, sealed and shaken before their patience runs out. It is a free bubble tea game for desktop, Chromebook and phone, with no download or sign-up.

How to play

Up to three customers wait at the counter at once, each with a patience bar over their head.

  • Read the ticket. Tap a customer (or press 1, 2 or 3) and their order appears on the ticket under the counter. As you build the drink, each part you get right turns green and a wrong choice turns red.
  • Build the drink. Choose a tea base, whole milk, oat milk or no milk, a sweetness level from 0 to 100%, and no ice, less ice or regular ice. Then add the toppings. Tap a topping again to take it back out.
  • Cook the pearls. Press Cook pearls and watch the timer bar under the pot. Drain while the marker is in the green zone and six perfect servings go into the bin. Too early and they are undercooked, too late and they are overcooked, and either way that drink’s toppings count as wrong. Keep the bin stocked.
  • Seal, shake and serve. Press Seal and the cup goes into the sealing machine, which frees your hands for the next drink. When it says Sealed, press Shake, then Serve.

Scoring: each drink is checked on six parts: tea, milk, sugar, ice, toppings and the shake. A perfect drink pays the full price, the full accuracy tip and a speed tip that grows with the patience the customer has left. Every wrong part takes 2 coins off the accuracy tip. With one mistake the customer is still happy; with two they pay but leave unhappy; with three or more they pay nothing. A customer whose patience runs out walks out.

Days: each day brings more customers, less patience and orders with more toppings. Make at least 60% of the day’s customers happy to open the next day. Miss a day and you keep your coins, so you can upgrade and try again. Clear all 10 days to win, or keep going with bonus days. Your progress is saved in your browser.

Upgrades and decor

  • Second sealer: two cups can seal at once, a big help on busy days.
  • Fast pearl pot and big pearl bin: perfect pearls in 6 to 10 seconds instead of 10 to 15, and room for 10 servings instead of 6.
  • New flavors: taro, matcha and Thai tea, plus popping boba, pudding, red bean and cheese foam. Customers start ordering whatever you unlock, and premium teas pay a coin more.
  • Decor: paper lanterns raise tips by 20%, and potted plants and a comfy sofa each make customers wait 20% longer.

Free make

Pick Free make on the start screen to design your own drink with no customers and no timer. Every tea and topping is open, pearls are always ready, and the game names your creation as you build it. Save recipe keeps up to eight drinks, and Recipes lets you make one again. The Random button mixes one up for you.

Tips

  • Start the pot first. Pearls are the most common topping, so put a batch on as soon as the day opens.
  • Serve the reddest bar first. Switch to the customer who is closest to leaving.
  • Never skip the shake. An unshaken cup is a mistake on an otherwise perfect drink.

About bubble tea

Bubble tea, often just called boba, comes from Taiwan, where it took off in the 1980s. The chewy tapioca pearls are made from cassava starch. Shops now offer endless mixes of teas, milks and toppings, which is what makes a boba game so fun.

FAQ

Is Boba Game free?

Yes. It is completely free, with no account and no install.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Every ingredient is a big button, and you can tap a customer to pick their order. On a keyboard, C cooks or drains pearls, S seals, H shakes, Enter serves and P or Esc pauses.

Why did a perfect-looking drink lose points?

Check the pearls and the shake. Undercooked or overcooked pearls make the toppings wrong, and a drink served without shaking counts one mistake.

Is my progress saved?

Yes. Your day, coins, upgrades and saved recipes stay in your browser. New game starts over.
