Farm Game is a cozy farming tycoon you can play free in your browser, with no download or sign-up. Start with six plots of soil and thirty coins, plant crops, water them and harvest when they ripen, then sell your produce, raise chickens and cows, bake in your own bakery and fill orders until a small patch of land becomes a busy farm. It works on desktop and phone, and saves automatically.
How to play
- Plant. Choose a seed in the bar above the farm, then tap an empty soil plot. Each seed costs a few coins.
- Water. A new seed shows a blue water drop. Tap the plot again to water it and the crop starts growing. A small bar shows how far along it is.
- Harvest. When the full crop appears and starts to bob, tap it to put it in your barn. You can drag across several plots to plant, water or harvest a whole row in one go.
- Sell or deliver. The Market tab sells anything you have. Prices drift up or down a little every 30 seconds, shown by the green and orange arrows. The Orders tab lists three customer orders that pay well above the market and give bonus XP.
- Grow. XP from harvests, animals, baking and orders raises your level and unlocks new things. Tap a fence tile (or use the Shop tab) to buy more land, up to 24 plots.
Crops, animals and the bakery
There are eight crops. Turnips (30 seconds) and wheat (45 seconds) are available from the start. Carrots unlock at level 2, tomatoes and corn at level 3, pumpkins at level 4, strawberries at level 5 and sunflowers at level 6. Slow crops sell for much more, so they suit times when you will be away for a while.
At level 2 you can buy chickens. Feed a chicken one wheat and it lays an egg a minute later. Cows unlock at level 4; each eats one corn and gives milk two minutes later. Collect from the Animals tab, where Feed all and Collect all save taps.
At level 3 you can build the bakery. Its oven bakes one recipe at a time: bread from two wheat, corn muffins from corn and an egg (level 4), cake from wheat, an egg and milk (level 5) and pumpkin pie from a pumpkin, wheat and an egg (level 7). Baked goods are worth more than their ingredients and show up in orders too.
Reach level 10 to earn the Farm of the Year title, then keep farming or start a new farm from the Shop tab.
Playing on and off
The farm runs in real time and keeps working when you close the page. When you come back, a welcome-back summary shows what ripened, which animals have something for you and whether the oven finished. Away time counts for up to 4 hours, so plant slow pumpkins or sunflowers before a break. Ripe crops wait in the soil until you harvest them. Press P or Esc to pause while you are on the page.
Tips for faster progress
- Read the orders first. An order usually pays about half again what the same goods fetch at the market, plus extra XP. Plant what the board asks for.
- Keep a wheat reserve. Chickens, bread, cake and pie all need wheat. Selling every stalk leaves your coop hungry.
- Buy land early. More plots means more harvests per visit, and the first few plots are cheap.
- Sell on the up arrow. Prices swing about 20 percent either way. If something you hold is down, it is usually worth waiting for the next price change.
FAQ
Is Farm Game free?
Yes. It is free, with no account and nothing to buy with real money. Coins only come from farming.
Does my farm save?
Yes. It saves in your browser every few seconds and whenever you do something. If you clear your browser data or switch to another device, you start a new farm.
Do crops grow while I am away?
Yes, for up to 4 hours of away time. Watered crops ripen, fed animals finish their eggs or milk and the oven completes its batch. Unwatered seeds wait for you, so water before you leave.
Can I play Farm Game on a phone?
Yes. Tap plots and buttons, and drag across plots to plant or harvest several at once. Touching the farm does not scroll the page. On a keyboard, keys 1–8 pick seeds and the arrow keys with Space work the plots.
Can I run out of money?
No. If you ever have no coins, no crops and nothing to sell, a friendly neighbor leaves you enough coins to plant again.
