Thanksgiving Game is a cozy holiday puzzle game with three modes in one: cook the whole feast in a busy kitchen against the dinner clock, seat the family around the table with logic clues, and decorate a gratitude tree with your own thankful notes. You can play this Thanksgiving game online free in your browser, with no download or sign-up, using a mouse, a keyboard or a phone’s touch screen.

How to play Feast Prep

Feast Prep is a kitchen timing game. Your kitchen has two counter spaces, two stove burners and two oven racks, and every dish has its own steps. The turkey is seasoned and then roasted, mashed potatoes are peeled, boiled and mashed, and the stuffing, green beans, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie each have their own prep and cooking steps. The final level adds gravy and dinner rolls.

  • Send a dish: tap a dish card, or press its number key, and it moves to the next free station it needs. Counter jobs finish by themselves after a few seconds.
  • Watch the bar: food on the stove or in the oven fills a bar with a green zone and then an amber zone. Tap the slot, or press its letter key (A to F), while the bar is in the green for a perfect result. Amber means a little overdone but still good. Leave it past the amber zone and it burns, and that step has to be cooked again from the start.
  • Beat the clock: serve every dish before dinner time. Your stars depend on quality: three stars need at least 90 percent quality with nothing burnt, two stars need 70 percent, and any feast served on time earns one star. If the clock runs out first, dinner is late and you score no stars.

There are five levels, from three dishes to the full feast of eight. Finishing a level unlocks the next, and the green windows get shorter in the last two. Press P or Esc to pause; switching tabs pauses too.

How to play Table Setting

Table Setting is a seating logic puzzle with 15 puzzles that grow from four guests to eight. The table has the kitchen at the top, a drafty door on the left and the fireplace on the right, and the seats next to each of them are marked. Read the clues, such as “Grandpa Joe sits away from the drafty door”, “Aunt May sits next to the only kid, Max”, “Aunt May sits directly across from Lily” or “Lily sits in the next seat clockwise from Uncle Walt”, then seat everyone so that all the clues are true.

Tap a guest, then tap a seat. Tap a seated guest and then another seat to move or swap them. Each clue gets a tick when it is true and a cross when it is broken, so you can see where a guess goes wrong. Every puzzle has exactly one correct seating, checked by a solver. On a keyboard, press 1 to 8 to pick a guest and A to H to pick a seat.

How to play Gratitude Leaves

Gratitude Leaves is the calm mode, with no timer. Type something you are thankful for, up to 60 characters, and press Enter or Add leaf to hang a numbered autumn leaf on the tree. Tap a leaf to read its note, and fill the tree with up to 36 leaves. Save tree as PNG downloads a picture of the tree with every note listed underneath. Notes are saved only in your own browser and are never sent anywhere.

Tips

  • Start the turkey first. The roast is the longest step in every level, so season it the moment the clock starts and get it into the oven.
  • Keep every station busy. While the turkey roasts, keep both counters and both burners working.
  • Plan around the oven. In later levels the turkey, stuffing, pie and rolls all share the two oven racks.
  • Seat the fixed guests first. In Table Setting, start with clues about the door, the fireplace or the kitchen, because they pin a guest to one or two seats.

FAQ

Is the Thanksgiving Game free?

Yes. It is free in your browser with no account, and your stars, solved puzzles and tree are saved on your device.

Is there a turkey game in it?

Yes. A cartoon turkey greets you on the title screen, and roasting the turkey is the main job in every Feast Prep level. Nothing unkind happens to the turkey; the roast is simply a golden dish.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Every mode works with taps, and the kitchen and table do not scroll the page while you play.
