It’s just the game, for fun, on desktop, tablet or phone.
How to play 75-ball bingo
75-ball is the American style of bingo. Each card is a 5×5 grid with the letters B-I-N-G-O across the top, and every column draws from its own range of numbers:
- B 1–15, I 16–30, N 31–45, G 46–60, O 61–75.
- The centre square is a FREE space and counts as already daubed.
- Choose 1 to 4 cards. More cards means more chances to win, but also more numbers to watch.
Press Start calling and the caller draws balls one at a time at the speed you pick (slow, normal or fast). You can pause at any time. When a called number is on your card, tap it to daub it. If you’d rather just watch, switch on Auto-daub and the game marks your numbers for you. Tapping a number that hasn’t been called does nothing, so you can’t daub by mistake.
How to play 90-ball bingo
90-ball is the British version. Each ticket has 3 rows and 9 columns holding 15 numbers, five in every row. The first column holds 1–9, the next 10–19, and so on up to 80–90 in the last column. The caller works through 90 balls, and the game is won by:
- One line: all five numbers in any row of a ticket.
- Two lines: any two complete rows on the same ticket.
- Full house: all 15 numbers on one ticket.
Winning patterns
Before each 75-ball game, pick the pattern you’re playing for:
- Any line: a full row, column or diagonal. Lines through the centre need only four numbers thanks to the FREE space, so this is the quickest game.
- Four corners: just the four corner squares. That’s only four numbers, but they’re all specific ones, so it usually takes longer than a line.
- Blackout: every number on one card. It’s the longest game, and the tension builds as the board fills up.
When your daubs complete the pattern, press the big BINGO button (or the B key). The button glows when you have a winning card. If you claim too early, the game gently tells you what’s still missing and play carries on. The computer players daub perfectly, but they take a moment to call BINGO, just like real players, so a quick claim can still beat them. The game keeps your wins and your fastest win (fewest balls called) in your browser.
Caller mode for parties and classrooms
Running bingo night with paper cards? Switch to Caller mode and your screen becomes a big random number caller. Choose 75 or 90 balls, then press Call next (or Space) to draw a ball, or use Auto call to draw at a steady pace. A large ball shows the latest number, the last five calls sit beneath it, and the full board lights up every number called so far. That makes it easy to check a winner’s card when someone shouts. Turn on Read aloud to have your device speak each call. Reset takes two taps, so you won’t clear a game by accident.
It works well on a TV or projector for family nights, birthday parties, care homes or the classroom. Teachers can use it for number recognition and place-value practice: 90-ball columns line up neatly with tens. For more number fun, try Number Memory or roll some dice in Yahtzee.
Strategy tips
- Play two or three cards once you’re comfortable. That’s the sweet spot between more chances and keeping up with the caller.
- Use slow speed with four cards if you’re daubing by hand, or switch on Auto-daub.
- Watch the computers’ “to go” counts. When one shows “1 to go”, get ready to claim fast.
- Check the called board if you think you missed a number. Called numbers stay lit, so you can still daub them late.
